I remember the first time I saw a demon cast out of an addict. .

The smell of the ER when they told me to say goodbye to my dad, flatlining on the table as his heart gave out…I laid across his chest and screamed, “take up your bed and walk!” And then he did. .

The holy hush this week as 6 people stood up in our prayer service to say YES to Jesus, an older bearded gentlemen with tattoos crossing his hand over his heart and in that moment everything changed for him.  We were changed too.

.

Man has disappointed me.  I have disappointed man.  I have wanted to quit.  I’ve probably made other people want to quit.  Of this I am not proud.  But one thing I do know- GOD IS FAITHFUL.  HE DOES NOT FAIL. I have seen His power, I have heard His voice- and it’s louder than my critics and more powerful than my mistakes. .

We’ve seen too much to quit now.  Don’t you dare let the enemy take up space in your mind- recall, bring up those memories of God’s faithfulness in your life and make room for even more miracles, signs and wonders.

.

He shows Himself in gentle breezes and raging fires but it’s all miraculous.  Equally effective. What we need in the moment. .

We have seen His glory and we will spend the rest of our days testifying of His power. .

I have seen it for myself.  I can’t quit now.

. “God stretches the northern sky over empty space and hangs the earth on nothing. He wraps the rain in his thick clouds, and the clouds don’t burst with the weight. He covers the face of the moon, shrouding it with his clouds. He created the horizon when he separated the waters: he set the boundary between day and night. The foundations of heaven tremble; they shudder at his rebuke. By his power the sea grew calm. By his skill he crushed the great sea monster. His Spirit made the heavens beautiful, and his power pierced the gliding serpent. These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?” Job 26:7-14 .
